What happens when you buy it

  1. Find your sizes

Front and rear differ, like 120/70 ZR17 and 180/55 ZR17. Both are on the tyres, in your owner’s manual and on the swingarm or chain-guard sticker. Match or beat the load index and speed rating listed there.

  2. Get a fitted quote

We haven’t found an online retailer page for the Continental ContiRoadAttack 4 yet. Ask a motorcycle shop for a fitted price on the pair, front and rear, in your sizes.

  3. Get them fitted

Riding in, the fit takes about an hour. Bringing the wheels in off the bike costs less. Ask for new valves and a balance on both wheels.

  4. Scrub them in

New tyres are slippery for the first 100–200 km while the mould coating wears off. Build up lean and braking gradually, and check the pressures cold before the next ride.
