Find the limit.

One lap, one button. Your tyres have a fixed amount of grip, shared between cornering and braking. Ask for more and you slide. Change the tyre or the weather and feel the limit move.

Hold to go. Let go to brake.

Press and hold the track, or hold Space. Carry as much speed as the tyres allow.

What the game shows

Grip is a circle

A tyre can turn, brake or accelerate, but its total grip is fixed. Braking hard while turning uses grip twice, which is why you brake in a straight line, then turn.

Power needs grip

At 300 kW/t you reach the corners much faster, so you need more grip to slow down and turn. That's why ratio sets a floor on the tyre category from your power-to-weight.

The right tyre for the day

Track tyres win in the warm and dry and lose badly in the wet. Winter tyres win below 7 °C. The best tyre is the one that suits your car, your roads and your weather.

Grip figures are illustrative, chosen to match the gaps between tyre types in published braking tests. Real grip also depends on load, temperature, wear and the road.
