Find your size
Decode a sidewall →It’s on your current tyre’s sidewall, like 225/45 R17 94W, and on the placard in the driver’s door jamb. The last part, 94W, is the load index and speed rating: the new tyre must match or beat the placard.

We haven’t found an online retailer page for the Nankang Sportnex AR-1 yet. Ring or email a local tyre shop with your size and ask for the fitted price, including balancing and disposal of the old tyres.
Choose how many
Four if your car is all-wheel drive or all four are worn. Otherwise at least a pair on the same axle, and ask for the new pair on the rear, where grip matters most for stability.
Book the fitting
Fitting and balancing four takes about an hour. Add a wheel alignment while the car is there: it stops the new tread wearing unevenly.
Go easy for the first 200 km
New tyres carry a release coating from the mould and grip less until it wears off. Brake and corner gently at first, then check the pressures after a week against the placard.
